High End, Lower Cost: The Core of Our Mission

Imagine if someone suddenly slapped a price tag on your physical health -- threatening to take it away if you didn’t foot the bill. How much money would you pay to keep your current capabilities? It’s not an easy question to answer – maybe even impossible. So often, we go through life taking for granted our wellbeing. We only realize its true value when and if we lose it.

Body Relief Depot knows the sport of living leaves little time for wondering “what if?” We also understand that nobody wants to be blindsided by debilitation of any sort. For this reason, BRD educates people on available preventative and therapeutic products; things as simple as a knee brace or cold pack or as complicated and specific as a recumbent bike. We hope to make folks aware of the many devices designed to improve wellbeing, reduce the risk of injury and reenergize the spirit. At the end of the day, BRD’s main goal is to get these state-of-the-art medical tools to people of all ages at discounted rates.

Our mission started a while back. At the time, David Rouen – BRD’s President – relied on his experience as a dependable provider of medical devices to private practices, sports clinics, hospitals and so forth. As he sold items ranging from ankle weights to exercise balls directly to businesses in the industry, Rouen regularly received phone calls from people searching for specific wellness tools. Some had heard about a lumbar support device or pain relief gel through their physician, but couldn’t find it on any store shelf. Others wanted quick comfort without making a trip to the doctor’s office.

Rouen realized the need for a one-stop shop that housed all these healing resources under one roof. Moreover, he felt this health hub should sell its devices at reduced cost, allowing the average Joe to receive superior care, affordably. No middle man; no waiting room: Just the consumer and a broad selection of medical equipment. Hence, BRD was born.
